Coin Highlights:

• A mintage of no more than 200,000 coins will be produced.

• Obverse: Portrays the Jody Clark likeness of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by her years of reign: 1952-2022, the date, face value, silver weight and purity.
• Reverse: Portrays a colorized purple design of a dragon suspended in the air among the clouds. A flaming pearl, a symbol for good fortune, hangs in the field design. Also included in the design is the Chinese character for "dragon" and the inscription "DRAGON 2024." For the year 2024 only, The Perth Mint is using a special "P125" mint mark in celebration of their 125th anniversary.

The Perth Mint's Australian Lunar Series III collection follows a long-standing tradition of producing stunning bullion coins featuring animal themes from the Chinese lunar calendar. Each year, the design on the reverse changes to reflect the Chinese lunar calendar, and for 2024, it honors the Year of the Dragon. According to Chinese astrology, individuals born in 2024, 2012, 2000, 1988, 1976, and every 12th year prior, possess ambitious, charismatic, and successful traits.
