- Obverse: Features the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III and the monetary denomination.
- Reverse: Created by artist Sean Rogers, the reverse depicts a kookaburra in flight over a gorge with a snake in its talons. Also included in the design is the inscription "KOOKABURRA" and The Perth Mint’s "P125" mint mark, celebrating its 125th anniversary. The 2024 year-date, as well as the weight and purity, is included in the design. Each coin’s reverse includes a security feature of a micro-laser engraved letter within the coin's design. It is only detectable under a magnifying glass.

The Silver Kookaburra Series
The Australian Silver Kookaburra series from The Perth Mint began in 1990 and is the longest-running bullion program from the mint. Each year has a different design of a kookaburra on the reverse, adding to the collectibility. Today, this series is offered in 3 sizes: a 1 kilo Silver Kookaburra, 10 oz Silver Kookaburra, and 1 oz Silver Kookaburra in addition to several version that are released each year with special privy marks.
